eBay Payouts

Is it just me or has ebay gotten way too slow about processing payments now that they are swamped as a result of MANAGED PAYMENTS?  Seems to me they should rename it  POORLY MANAGED PAYMENTS. Even payments that are on hold for whatever reasons are taking way longer than they were at the beginning of all this.

@kb4dmf

I've been in since Fall, 2019. Back then, payments took from 6-14 days to get to me. It seems that now my wait is 4 business days. I think the system has improved (in many regards) since I opted in. Good luck to us all.

Your seller status bears no influence on the MP program.  I see lots of sellers state theirs but while your status is a VERY good one, it just doesn't play into anything to do with MP.

I noticed a slow down of pending moving to Available over last weekend which was also a holiday weekend.  But for me it has appeared to be fine since.  I do weekly payouts and my Tuesday payout was sent fine and received by noon the next day.

Ebay doesn't actually process the money, it is Adyen.

What specifically are you seeing.  How many business day to clear, are you on daily or weekly deposits?

I know my seller status has nothing to do with mp speed, I was just try to be accurate. Payments were processed today (Feb 20th) that were started on the 17th. I'm still waiting on $750 that now go back to the 18th. I started out with daily

, switched to weekly for a while and then went back to daily maybe two weeks ago.  Theres no doubt that daily does make one pay more attention to the processing time. But I do feel like 3 days to process is a little excessive also. I dont have facts and figures to back it up, but as I said at first, it just seems slower that it was when I started mp back in December.

Oh, I'm speaking strictly ebay processing time, not the time to show up at my bank. Bank time is always one day after. Also Ayden is still doing it on behalf of ebay so that makes no difference to me either way.

It has nothing to do with ANYTHING in MP not just the speed.

MP is processing on Business days only.  Sometimes payments process over the weekend, but Payouts do not.  Payouts are on Business days ONLY.

I would agree that your payment of the 17th is going the slow route.  I've not experienced that and hopefully I won't.  I also hope this is the only time it happens for you.

It seems to me that this past holiday weekend was slower to process payments all together.  So hopefully it is back on track now.  It seems to be for me.

I do the Weekly deposits.  I would not even consider going to daily.  Not only do I want all those deposits going into my checking account, It just gives me more work to balance stuff.  Weekly is great for me.  Every Tuesday morning they send the payout and it is in my bank before noon on Wednesday.  That works for me and my needs.
