dont see a payment showing up in my paypal account for item i sold.

 so i sold an item on ebay and the buyer paid. i got a message in my email saying that had paid but i dont see the payment at all in my paypal account. my paypal account is linked in ebay. the email also says this: Simply click the link below and complete PayPal's one-page registration form to claim your money.

so i went to the sellers hub on ebay and under awaiting payment it says the item hasnt been paid for... so is it paid for or not? im so lost right now.

Did the buyer ask you for your PayPal email address?

the email is from paypal. it looks like the payment is trying to be sent to the wrong email address. not to the correct paypal email address.

so i look at ebay and the listing shows up under the awaiting payment section. it then says "buyer hasnt paid yet". then it shows the listing and says payment sent on mar 21 via paypal.. this **bleep** is so confusing...

alright i got it figured out. i made a new paypal account under the email it says the payment was sent to and now the payment shows up in paypal. it does say its on hold now which sucks but at least i did get paid.

Actually, you didn't need to make a new PayPal account: You can have up to 8 email addresses on your original PayPal account.

really? man i wish i had known that. oh well. ill just transfer it when it fully clears.
