customer claims they did not receive an item and requests a refund

Not even sure if this is the correct forum,

 

customer claims they did not receive an item and is asking for a refund. i sent them a print screen/copy of the USPS shipping notice that shows the item was delivered. who do I contact at Ebay to let them know I sent the customer a copy of this notice so I can collect my payment?

You don't need to do anything if your buyer is simply messaging. But if your buyer opens an Item Not Received claim, you'll need to add the 'Delivered' tracking information into the case. Good luck.

If the buyer has filed an INR, respond to the case and upload the tracking number.

If tracking shows it was delivered to their zip code, the case should be closed in your favor.

 

You can also tell the buyer to check with their PO and find out where it was delivered.

Thank you very much for your reply. They did indeed end up filing a claim and I did provide the information. Since my post I did speak with eEbay and they have dismissed the claim in my favor. Again, thank you!

Thank you very much for your reply. They did end up filing a claim. On 3 occasions I did provide the tracking information as well as advising them to check with USPS since they had indicated the package had been delivered.  

 

Since my post I did speak with eEbay and they have dismissed the claim in my favor. Again, thank you!
