why is ebay not accepting my debit card  payment ?

Can't pay seller. It seems a glitch in the (pay) system prevents me from the payment request page to be transferred to the PayPal page (where I have to accept the payment request to pay). My action to paying my obligation is: On the (ebay) payment note I press the button "Pay Seller" and the following screen note appears, saying: "We can't tell if these items are yours. Please sign in to continue." Different approaches didn't get me anywhere either. There is no reference or record of the deal in (ebay) "Purchase history" or "unpaid items / unpaid invoices". Apart from the ebay contact name (mine is "wervier-0") I have no other way to pay this man (e.g. would need an bank account number or PayPal address). Requested from seller to send me a second demand of payment, but he advised me to sort out the problem with ebay. I'm a bit lost now and may have to default on the payment, because the (ebay) computer program glitch prevents me from paying seller. Other deals and payment went through without a hick up. Can anybody help?

You may want to contact paypal and make sure you contact the seller to let them know your issue with payment.  Most sellers will try to work with you. Good luck.

The problem is not ebay.

Perhaps you could pass this info on in your community, as there have been hundreds of posts here of the same from Sri Lanka ebay members.  Thanks in advance for being helpful.
