Why is not accepting my debit card ?

It is because your bank in Sri Lanka is limiting foreign transactions at the time you tried to pay. Call your bank or try paying later.

The issue is with the your bank.  Sri Lanka has limited foreign currency payments recently.  Government banks has totally blocked foreign currency payments. So if you want to buy something from eBay, you have a open a private bank account and get a credit or debit card. Most of the private banks Debit card's weekly foreign currency payments limit is about $100. Credit cards limit little bit higher than $100.

Try to call your bank for more information.

If you want to buy a item more than $100 wroth from a debit card. You cannot do that. You have to go for a another option.
