account under review; payment on hold

Hi,

I sold an item for the 1st time 10 years.

The buyer rushed and filed and item not received.

Buyer picked up the item within 12 hours and then closed "item not received".

I marked item as picked up (was local pick only).

After several interactions with eBay my funds on are still on hold but now they have placed my account under review. The funds are not to be released until the review is complete.

The agent said that since eBay moved from Paypal they have to do an additional layer of account investigation. Does anybody know what is going on?

Since you haven't sold anything in awhile, you're treated like a new seller.

New sellers can have their funds held for 30 days.
