Why does eBay insist on making payment reconciliation difficult for the seller?

The current reports available from eBay make the task of automated payment reconciliation impossible since the payment tracking information sent to the bank (Bank Reference ID) is not included in any report. Nor is it a seller selectable field to include into any report.

Nor is the Bank Reference ID sent in the payout notification detail in eBay messaging or the email sent from eBay to the seller's email address.

The only field eBay makes available by automated means is the eBay Payout ID. Which is not useful for payment reconciliation from eBay to bank.

This forces the seller to use the eBay platform GUI to perform a manual search to find the bank payment tracking information in order reconcile eBay data with payment bank data.

One would think that eBay would have Included the payment tracking information sent to the bank (Bank Reference ID) as field name and field data value to include in a report. But this ability for the seller to include the information is no available as for 2022-11-29.

Important because of eBay's continued use of payment method that completely separates the eBay payment send date from the bank payment receive date that was forced on all eBay seller's back in December 2020. A method that has resulted in at least 2 days delay. And in some cases up to 4 days delay before bank payment receipt.  But really, the Bank Reference ID would be required even if payments were instantly received by the bank in order to reconcile the payment from eBay to bank.

@vectrexer

In the Transaction Report that you can pull by date range, the Bank Reference ID is in the eBay Txn Report field called [Reference ID].  The [Type] field is "Payout" for this record.

Below is a sample, I have stripped blank fields and changed the numbers to protect the innocent and make it smaller.  If you click on it, it will be bigger. Is this what you are looking for?
