Where to find managed payment fees?

I was looking at the "transaction details" page under the payouts section and noticed I saw all the final value fees but I don't see the fee for managed payments. The payouts that go to my banks seem to only reflect money buyer paid(with tax)  minus final value fees. Where is the managed payment fee shown/taken out? I though I would see it on the transaction details page for each item sold.

@leareamc

What fees for MP?

Under transactions, it shows all the fees for that order.

Have a great day.

Besides the eBay FVFs you're seeing, there's the additional $.30 Processing Fee per transaction. Is that what you mean?

I guess I must not know how managed payment works. When it was Paypal,  you would get all the money the customer paid minus what Paypal would deduct(2.9% +$.30 fee) transferred into your PP account. Ebay would then invoice you for your final value and listing fees. Bottom line is that you paid both fvf and payment processing fees and you could see the charges. I could have sworn when Ebay took over payment processing they said they would take a slightly lesser processing fee(2.7 I believe + .25 which I guess eventually changed to .30)  and of course, you still pay fvf and listing fees. Seems like y'all are saying that we only get charges fvf  +.30 and do not get charged the 2.7%.

When Pay Pal was processing the payments, Pay Pal would charge 2.9% + $.030.

Ebay would charge us 10%.

With Managed Payments, they changed the fee's to 12.5% +$0.30 and no more Pay Pal fee's.

Now, it shows as one fee under transactions.

Have a great day.

That seems like an over simplification. Are you saying that all final value fees have the managed payment fee cooked in? The 12.5% is the raised final value fee price for a few  categories and only if you have a starter store. Basic and above subscriptions are now 12% in a lot of categories but lower in some. For instance if I sold a gaming console it's now 6.8%... previously it was 6% I believe. If you are trying to say that Ebay has now baked in payment processing fees into the fvf, then that would make a console sale have about a 9% fvf. I know Ebay has raised fvf rates, but isn't that just them choosing to increase it and not that they claim they raised them to include processing fees? So is Ebay not charging us for payment processing and instead only charging the .30 fee?

So am I thinking of this correctly or not? Anyone with a reply to my last post?

eBay takes the final value fees out before they give you your portion.

eBay FVFs are 12.9% of the entire payment you received (selling price plus shipping and sales tax).

In the old days you paid 10% to eBay and 2.9%+30cents to PayPal.
Now, eBay charges 12.9%+30cents.

These percentages are general. Some categories are different.

Where to find managed payment fees?

I finally read the Store Fees page...  ok I understand, Ebay technically does not charge for payment processing, just the .30.

Not exactly.  That 30 cents is a transaction fee.  The exact same amount we paid to PayPal.  The money processing fee is now rolled INTO the FVF we pay so there is only ONE fee.  So the FVF or Simplified Fee we pay to Ebay includes money process, FVF on the product, FVF on shipping [if any] and FVF on Sales tax, all rolled into ONE fee.

Yes I understand, but it is interesting when you consider a category such as consumer electronics that I mentioned. For a basic store, the rate is now 6.8(it was 6).... that .008% increase is not enough to equal the 2.7 that Ebay claimed they would start charging for managed payment processing fee. It makes it seem like Ebay is not so much increasing fvf to make up for payment processing, but simply increasing fees because they feel it's time to increase fees for whatever reason. It does make sense that they would increase fees to bake in processing fees, but when you look at all categories, some of the increases in fvf don't equal up to that 2.7.  Not saying that Ebay is completely waiving processing fees(other than the .30 which they say is a "per transaction fee"), but it just doesn't add up to baking in a standard processing fee across all categories.

I'm not sure what you are looking at or where you are getting your number to compare, Not much of what you said makes sense to me.

Ebay has a Simplifed Fee for MP now.  It is ONE FVF fee which includes FVF on the product, shipping and sales tax.  It also includes the fees for money processing.  Most categories for sellers without a store are now 12.9%.

As I stated earlier the 30 cent per transaction fee that Ebay charges is EXACTLY the same fee that PayPal charged when we could use them.  Now however they raised that fee on Paypal shortly after Ebay onboarded most sellers to MP.
