When do Pending Funds Become Available Funds?

Not liking the managed payments so far. I've got a good amount of money"pending" which I could sure use right now. Had it been paypal I wouldn't be stressing this.

So when does the pending become available?

Hopefully it' snot something triggered by a tracking number.

Heck other venues don't' take this long.

It takes approximately 2 Business days to clear the pending funds, then it moves to Available Funds.  

Sellers have a choice of Daily or Weekly payouts.  However it is really important to remember that MP ONLY processes on Business days.  And Monday is a Holiday.  

You can tell what is Pending and what is Available in your Seller Hub under the Payments tab.  You can also see the date your next transfer of Available Funds should take place.

I absolutely am not thrilled about this new 'Managed Payments'. Paypal was so much easier to work with (getting money, paying for shipping) and I do not like the fact that it goes directly into my checking account. I am currently trying to figure out where all the money went in 'available and pending' status on the 'payment options' screen. It was there yesterday. Along with a $7.00 payout being sent to my checking account. Plus, when you go to print your transactions under the 'payment tab', it doesn't print the $ amounts. Sometimes just asking a question on the 'help & support' page gets you even more confused along with not getting the answer you want.   So my question is......where is my money and why can't I find any transactions showing where it went???????? 😢

Go to your Seller Hub and click on the "Payments" tab at the top of the page. All the info you want is there.

I hate this new system too, instead of getting my money immediately I'm going to have to wait almost a week.  I will be giving ebay an earful about my dissatisfaction and I hope all sellers do the same.  Might be time to find a new selling platform if they don't change it.

They're not going to change it. Most other selling platforms have their own managed payments program. It's the future and the future is now.

Why didn't they do this when they owned PayPal? Why sell PP then do this? They're purposefully slow paying people to make money on the interest on the money they hold onto.

That’s a very good point! It is actually infuriating. When they own PayPal we got our money immediately they used us to grow eBay and now they treat us like garbage and draw interest as they hold onto our money and make us wait days. We basically have to ship our items before we even see our profit.
