As an experienced eBay seller, I believe you probably know that eBay offers you a way to handle non-paying bidders.
If the buyer hasn't paid in four days, on day #5, the seller can cancel, citing buyer didn't pay as the reason.
Your listing will be cancelled, fees will be refunded and you are free to relist if you wish. So, have to ask: Has it been 4 days yet? And, if so, have you cancelled as detailed above?

Don't send them an invoice as a reminder to pay because it resets their 4 days to pay.

And they will get an "unpaid item" strike. If they do this again the strikes will add up and eBay will crack their knuckles.
And the buyer will start finding their bids rejected by sellers who already have restrictions on selling to buyers with unpaid item strikes. It takes a while but the system will eventually punish them. But only if sellers report it.

Yes I cancelled a bid for 81 dollars to relist and get 36 out of it and that was really my question. Another member answered though telling me about unpaid item strikes. Thanks for your time.

I think this has been clarified; it does not reset the four days *unless* it is a combined invoice.
