All of a sudden over the last four days I can no longer buy from sellers I have bought from before and I can't pay for items I have bought as I get this message:
Unfortunately, this seller will not ship to a P.O. Box. Here is what you can do:

Before you bid it's a great idea to look in the shipping details and see if PO Boxs are excluded. It's usually only sellers that ship using UPS that excludes PO Boxes. But some sellers exclude them because they think they're risky or something but they're the safest way to receive packages.

Hi Thanks for responding but......In three cases this week without EVER seeing this before there was no indication as to any limitations. This has all the earmarks of some sort of Ebay " encouragement" . Just FYI I have been buying on " the bay" for over 20 years with over 1400 positive buys. Thanks and have a great day!

It has nothing to do with Ebay, the sellers decide where they'll ship.
All buyers have positive feedback.

It has everything to do with Ebay and much, very much, depends on how they set up their sellers page and what " defaults". they set up. As for the positives 1400 buys says a lot. have a greater day!

Just as a for instance I took a look at the " listing page" . Right at this moment what does " payments managed by Ebay" mean? Just sayin!

Still, the seller decides where they want to ship, not Ebay.
Ebay just provides the options for the sellers to choose from.

It just means you are on Managed Payments.
If you sell anything, the funds will go to the checking account you provided.

Some sort of eBay encouragement? Why would eBay "encourage" buyers not to buy and sellers not to sell?

On eBay, the seller decides where he wants to ship his merchandise. If, for some unknown reason, he decides not to ship to PO boxes, that's his decision and his alone.
As you are aware, a PO box is about the safest place to have your purchases delivered. Not out in the rain, not visible on your porch to be stolen safely in a locked box in a Federal building.
