Waiting time for payments

As a 17 year seller on EBay I believe management has crossed a line with sellers by holding the funds from sales so long. Also they are taking their percent not just from the sale itself, but also they add the shipping fee to that total, and charge a percent from that. Shipping costs should never be the financial responsibility of the seller.

They've been charging their fee on shipping for 10 years. You just noticed? Sellers would set their item price artificially low, and jack up the shipping, in order to avoid fees.

Unless you're on weekly payouts, they don't hold your funds.

As soon as the funds become available, they send them to your checking account.

They also charge you a fee on any sales tax the buyer pays.

Have a great day.

Waiting time for payments

all i know is i sold a 75$ item, the buyer paid 9.00 for shipping(it was actually 11 $) , i saw this buyer actually paid 90.00 with tax to ebay total including taxes, i was paid 72.00$ but i had to pay for the shipping out of the 72.00. So if you minus the 11.00$,  my actual income on that 75.00$ was 61.00$  ..

It's not eBay's fault you undercharged for shipping. And as you were already told, eBay has charged their fee on the shipping payment since 2011; it's not new, so if you're just finding out, you need to re-evaluate your business plan and how you keep up with changes in the marketplace.
