I have been a Ebayer for 15 years with a spotless record. I have always had the proceeds of my sales sent to my PayPal account but that's all been changed now. Suddenly EBay wants my banking information to "update my account". I'm not doing this. I don't want EBay to have access to my checking account. I had a heated discussion with " Rochelle"(not allowed to divulge her last name) from EBay concerning this new policy. I have money from a sale on hold until I update my account. They can keep my money but I better not get an invoice for seller fees for November. "Rochelle" said she has the final say in this matter so if any of you have a similar problem just be prepared: You're screwed! I'm done with this scam.

Did you not receive any emails alerting you to the fact that you would be going into the Managed Payments program?

Take a breath, I find it hard to believe that you have been on EBay for 15 years and not heard of the Manage payment program. If you want to continue to sell on here, go get a separate checking account used only for EBay and sign up, there is no getting around this as ebay and PayPal have separated like Brad and Angelina.

OP may have been placed in managed payments without his or her knowledge. I was never warned but one day last week got an email saying I was in and no more payments would go to PayPal. I canceled the few listings I had. When my life gets back to normal, I will join.. but I had no warning. They do not have bank info.

So you didn't get those couple of emails they say they send to alert you a few weeks before actually putting you into the program? I'm seeing multiple posts from sellers who are getting dumped in who seem to not be getting any prior notices.

This is very presumptuous of eBay to put a seller into MP before they have all the bank and other info they need.
