Unresponsive seller

Seller said he would refund me return shipping cost after receiving return. He did refund me the item cost but not return shipping, so i sent him a message saying that he forgot to pay me the shipping cost but haven't got a response. He's so **bleep** busy he doesn't have time for his business. It's been months now and i'm still waiting. Idk what to do, i paid with debit card.

@ahhenry2012 Why did you return the item? What is the reason you gave Ebay for returning the item? (Yes I'm asking 2 separate questions intentionally)

Did the seller try and get you to lie to EBay and promise to refund you the return shipping? You received an item not as described and he said "say it's because you didn't like it" and he would refund shipping cost?

This is a common occurence.

If they're responsible for return shipping you have to get the return shipping cost up front because there's no way eBay can force them to reimburse you after you return it. If the seller wasn't giving you the return shipping cost  you were supposed to ask eBay for help. If the seller didn't provide the shipping cost to return it then eBay would've refunded and told you that you don't have to return it.
