Unknown purchase from eBay on my ban statement

Hey! According to my bank statement I have 3 purchases from eBay. I have never bought anything from this site, nor have I ever had an account (I registered last Friday when I was trying to investigate this issue). Is this a scam?

Is it possible to at least check what was bought?

Check with others that may have access to your bank account or debit card (spouse/kids/etc) and if you confirm these purchases were not made by somebody you know, then chances are your information has been compromised and you need to file fraud reports with your bank to dispute the charges and get a new debit card number assigned. Your bank can provide additional info on keeping your information secure.

There is no way to look up which items were purchased based on the order numbers. eBay customer service won't even be able to help because, for privacy reasons, they can't give out info from somebody else's account.

That was the reason for one of my chargebacks. A mother not recognising a bank statement because her daughter had "borrowed" her card.

 Someone has access to your credit card number.   There is a phone number on the back of your card you can call about it.  They can issue you a new card with a different number if some scammer got yours.

Does anyone in your household have access to your card?  If so check with them.
