Hi guys, I just want to know if I'm in the wrong here?
The buyer has good reviews, they're getting an item that was won from a bid. They said they'd pay on Friday, it is now Saturday. I'm in a situation where I'm living between a dorm and my home, so I cannot personally be present near the package, although I'm sure I can have someone do it for me. So I've been sending [AUTOMATED] reminders to the person, no response from Wednesday (the day they told me that they'd paid me on Friday). I made the shipping free as well as added in some freebies (because I have no use for them).
I also told them if they're unable to pay within the 4-day window, I'll be forced to relist and I don't want to go through that process again.
So the question remains: am I in the wrong for having some sort of contact with them every day with reminders of payment? I'm giving them the full four days.

You aren't in the wrong exactly, but contacting the buyer repeatedly is a waste of time.
eBay sends the buyer a reminder. If they've not paid in 4 days, a cancellation can be opened on day #5.
The seller is refunded his FVF, the buyer has a nonpayment strike and you, the seller, are free to relist.
