Tried to use new instant payouts and now my payments are on hold?

I usually just get paid through my bank account’s routing number, but I saw that there is a new system that allows for instant payments through Visa or Mastercard debit cards.

Sounds awesome, so I add my debit card to payouts. 

Now it says I need to upload a bank statement, and that my funds are on hold indefinitely? 

I don’t have a bank statement on me, and need my funds to be released ASAP.

I put my bank account back  to the default payout, but the message is still there saying to verify my info.

Keep in mind, this debit card is connected to the SAME bank account. I’ve already done all of this once before many moons ago. 

Will my payouts still be sent? Why must I re-verify my info if the debit card is connected to the bank account on file?

Why? I don’t want to use this “instant payment” system if I have to wait for a bank statement to come in the mail?

I JUST received my payouts from Saturday and Sunday. 

This doesn’t make any sense. Just because I added a debit card on file — the same debit card I use to buy stuff with, the same debit card attached to my bank account, that now I can’t receive payouts through the bank that I’ve been using for over a year???

My eBay message says, "Now you can get paid faster when you set up your VISA or Mastercard debit card as a payout method." Do you see a difference in "... so I add my debit card to payouts" and "set up your card as a payout method? "

I ask because I do... have you marked  the debit card as a payout method? And I'm with Don... you'll have to comply. Dang...

Like I said, I’m trying to BACK OUT of this system then.

I just removed it as a payment method. This should clear everything up, no?

Info you sent to use the instant system did not match exactly the other info on eBay and payments:

You will need to verify yourself again. No way around this.

Incorrect. I removed the debit card as a payout method and the message is now gone. 

It was that simple. Like I said, I’ve been getting payouts for months. Just because I added a new payout shouldn’t prevent me from using my old one.

Anyone interested in this new program, keep in mind, YOU WILL NEED A BANK STATEMENT ON HAND. Or you might end up freaking out like me.

You don't by chance have cards issued by choice financial? they issue cards for ramp mercury and a bunch of other fintech companies that are major banking platforms used for businesses because of all the extra features. I am having this same issue with my choice bank issued mercury business Mastercard debit card and now since it has to match the LLC's name and address perfectly I cant even use another debit card for the instant payouts. I know the sketchy cashapp sutton issued cards have these issues and choice issued cards clearly do too just curious what other peoples issuing banks are because a ton of us are having this issue with  push payments which are the instant payouts that are done through either the RTP realtime payment platform or the other instant one facilitated by the Fed. The bank has to participate in those programs which choice does and most banks do at this point. When i had my citi card attatched before i changed it to an LLC entity owned seller account it always worked flawlessly but now I cant use that bank account because the account technically belongs to the company not me it is its own entity and thats what's on file now.

I actually just tried a new card to see if it would solve the problem and got my payouts restricted again for like the 10th time. Its been 6-8 months with like 10 different tickets filed with ebay to have someone with access to the technical details that customer support cant access to get this resolved and I get the **bleep** they will email you within a week answer. 8 months with 10 different tickets with zero response at all. They claim this department doesn't have a phone or an email to contact them with.
