Store Restricted Due to Identity Verification (Drivers license)

Hello everybody, Ebay wanted me to update identification information (as a store owner).

They required me to upload pictures of the front and back of my drivers license. 

I have done that multiple times with very clear photographs of my valid drivers license.  

Ebay did not accept this no matter what I did.  It just rejected it and made me try again in a few days.  What can I do?  My funds are all on hold and my account is restricted.  They are going to suspend my account if I can't satisfy their requirements., but the system is glitching.  I can't get in contact with anybody from ebay and I am just up a creek right now. 

Any ideas or people I can talk to from Ebay about this? Thank you all for any help at all.

Do you have the "Real ID Driver's License"? Could be a problem. They extended the time to get it but companies might have updated they are accepting only those now. It was a bit of a hassle for me to get it. 3 forms of ID on paper with my address and such...and nothing is acceptable on our iPhone. Plus you can only do that in person at the DMV. And I also got a new passport. Have you a passport to use? Just thoughts.

I do not have the "Real ID Driver's License".  

Is that the only acceptable driver's license on Ebay now?  I have a valid Wisconsin state issued driver's license that I was using.   Another thought popped into my head.  My driver's license does indeed have a different address than my business has.  Maybe thats the problem?  I just moved into a new house and haven't thought about it until just now.   But the Driver's license address does not match any of the information that I would have entered for this business.

That's a great point. Every name and address should match to the T. 

Jon L Smith is not Jon Smith,   don't match.

Address is important. Make them match letter for letter. Number for number.

Hope they don't go to that Real ID license.

I just paid for an 8 year regular drivers license.

I think that's the problem - your address and absolutely your name need to match. 

The "real ID" law doesn't take effect until 2025 (law passed in 2005 for license enhancements), so I don't think it's that.  You need to have some documentation of present address.

Most likely the address.  The 'Real' ID shouldn't make any difference.  

Also, if you use as EIN, that could be the issue.  I had one of those red errors on my acct.  It was there for 9 mos.  I tried to get it resolved & called 4x with no luck, plus everything was correct.  Finally after almost a year, they stopped my payouts.  They didn't like my EIN for some reason, even though it was correct.   I had to change it to my SSN & everything has been fine since then.
