I was about to make a bid and I got asked to add a new card...
I ALREADY HAVE 5... ¿why another one?

None of the cards THAT I'M ALREADY USING TO PURCHASE AND PAY WITHOUT PROBLEMS is accepted for bidding.
So... I can only guess someone became **bleep** and added some code to **bleep** people out of the platform.

I HAVE HAD SEVERAL SUCCESFULL AND WON AUCTIONS!!!... ¿What's this new nonsense?

What it was asking you is what payment method did you want to use.

It's nothing new, eBay set up  that buyer requirement for sellers a while ago. It was in response to sellers begging for an option to stop bidding without paying when buyers won.

As i already said, I was using my cards without any issue.

My feedback is 100% positive, I only buy stuff and I bought A LOT of stuff by bidding and never had ANY problem while bidding with any card on 0 balance, because since as I have several others, at the time of payment I can/could change card.

If the problem is people bidding and not paying bids, THEN LIMIT THEM... NOT ME!...
I'm losing good deals, SELLERS ARE LOSING BETTER FEES...
That **bleep** measure only made harm to them.

Also, I already have a card from same bank/issuer as bidding card that was not accepted but then suddenly appeared as bidding card. But I want to put MY MAIN CARD, not my partner's.
The agent said debit cards are not accepted, BUT THE SYSTEM ASKS FOR A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD....
The agent said my card can't be verified, BUT I RECEIVE THE "zero dollar charge ebay verification"
The agent said my card is not usable, but IS MY DAILY CARD, that i'm suing on several other platforms, the same I pay for "buy now" items, the same I use on the market every day....

It seems to me that agents are a delusional A.I. o some r3tard group of indians trying to harm ebay.

They make directios to nowhere, they claim false things, and there's never a solution.

Hello My Friend,  Actually had sort of the same issue recently on another venue.  Turns out my card had expired without me knowing it.  May be worth a check.  Good luck!  (j.b.)
