So let me get this straight, my payments are on hold. Will they release them when item is shipped?

They won't be released until  the item is shipped, for sure. They probably won't be released immediately upon shipment, though... you're a new seller and your funds will be held for a bit. Hang in there.

Your funds can be held up to 30 days.  Until you've sold 25 items worth $250 and it's been 90 days since your first sale your funds will be held until tracking shows a delivered scan, or in 21 days if there's no tracking showing delivered.

You can use funds in MP to pay for your shipping label if you create your shipping label in Ebay.  There is an option at the very bottom of the form that asks how you want to pay for the label.  It defaults to PayPal, so make sure you change it to Ebay.

Hey just an observation.  The title of a listing is extremely important.  Think like a buyer and make sure you have info in there someone might search by.

Like with shoes, type of shoe [tennis] make sure you note if they are men's or women's, what size they are and what color along with the brand.

Your Kerig should at the very least say it is a coffee / beverage maker.

It will help you to get more bids on auctions and more views on fixed price listings.  Don't let that important space go unused.  You aren't doing yourself any favors by doing that.

Make sure your tracking number is recorded, even if you have to insert it yourself.

Your money will likely be released when the tracking shows delivery, but if it hasn't been after 24 hours, phone and politely ask the phone rep if she can help.

When you read all about selling on eBay, hopefully before you made your first listing, did you notice the explanation about funds being held for new sellers?
