Open up a new free checking account elsewhere or refund and don't sell. It has to be a regular checking account. Not an online entity.

You might look at posting in the "Payments" board....there have been a few discussions regarding Chime to my recollection......
that being said, I have also seen something about a green dot card which has been accepted for some sellers if you are unwillling to open an online bank account with one of the many available banks....

eBay does support Chime. I have been using Chime for over a year and it works great.
eBay does not give support for Chime to make it work (hard to receive eBay real support on any issues).
In my case I kept getting "try again later" messages from eBay. After 2 weeks of trying three times daily, to my surprise, Chime was accepted. Haven't touched the settings since.
During that time period I tried eBay and user support without any success. No real answer on why it finally worked. I know there are other users that use Chime. Deposits are usually processed same or next day once submitted by eBay. Much faster than when I used a "normal" bank.
Chime is listed by eBay in their selection for Bank Account. It can work, but you probably won't get support to make it happen 🙄.

Chime works for me.

This thread is from March 2023. Back then Chime was not acceptable, things may or may not have changed since then in regards to Chime. You may find your account on hold one day because eBay needs to verify your banking info.
