I do not blame them ! I would never be dumb enough to ship anything before the money was actually available in my hands !! Ebay needs to scrap MP or just not force it !! To those proclaiming to love it well they can have it ! Ebay went south on this stupid idea ! pretty soon as they try to enroll more into it you will see a decline in sellers that stick around and eventually ebay will have to feel the hit. I mean the long time proven sellers will walk away. Lets see if ebay is smart enough to care . Take care

It's frustrating for both sellers & buyers. I'm cringing anticipating being shoved into this payment plan.  Am tired of waiting for an item I paid for on 8-18. Seller marked it as to expect receipt of the DVD by 10-5. Like-wow! I knew this when I bought it but sometimes sellers do that then ship very quickly & end up with rave positives.

     I finally got the "it shipped" notice from eBay on 9-25. Yeah.  Today Monday 9-28 it still says "tracking number provided". Big deal-get it out of your home & into the postal jeep! Am ticked off despite knowing seller promised a long wait. Was just hopeful he was one of the quick shippers.

     Thank you for your post, helps me understand why he's doing this. He wants his money! I don't blame him but also think if many other sellers do this, the brick & mortar stores may get more visits from me!

it is hard to blame the seller although I know that could be easy to do but ebay has made it a nitemare with MP for sellers to function under this payment method ! The blame lies with ebay for creating such a mess ! Put yourself in the sellers shoes. Would you want to ship when it may take days to actually be paid ? Only winner is ebay not the buyer or the seller. Ebay has designed a mess !

Hi, not blaming the  anything. He gave me the facts from the start & has kept his word!  I am putting myself in his shoes. Hope his money shows up soon, then my DVD can get on it's way.  When I am shoved into this program I will do the same thing. Make extremely long shipping times.

Can you provide some real time data to back up your latest theory.  I'm sure a % of sellers are holding off shipping, but you would have us believe it is all sellers.

I, too, wanted no part of MP, but my time came and I adapted and moved forward.  I am still shipping next day and have had no problems.  My payouts are coming in a timely fashion.  No need for any of your snarky retorts about how foolish I am.

You knuckled under and signed up.  Now just let it work for you too.

muskingum will be joining the parade too.  He will deny it, just like you did for so long.  But he'll be coming aboard.

if you do nt like the sellers in MP taking there sweet time then find another seller that cares.Some people have a theory that sellers are increasing the handling times in MP .some sellers do this bit in my opinion its just stupid,not sure why any seller would have a long handling time,its just shooting yourself in the foot and is not a widespread practice.

The mess is with to seller who refuses to ship until funds are in hand. How do you think that PayPal operated. They didn't have funds in hand when they gave you the money. It was instant except for checks. It takes the same amount of time for PayPal to get their money for buyers as it does now for you to get it from MP. The only difference is that the shoe is on the other foot. Managed Payments works exactly how the real world works. PayPal was the exception.

In any business you need to have money on hand to pay the bills. Do you think that Walmart, the grocery store or any other place makes you wait until your money is available in their bank account to let you have the product you just bought? Wonder how long you would have to wait to get your buggy of groceries if you had to wait for the store to get your money in the bank. Bet you 10 to 1 you'd be waiting with your buggy against the wall with your ice cream melting for a few days. Just Sayin.

pay pal went from the buyers account directly to you !!! It is exactly how that worked ! I bought as well as sold so I know when I bought it went directly to the seller and vise versa !! It was fast easy and trustworthy and no one had to wait on anything unless you chose to. People on here are not stupid ! A seller should have a choice on how and what kind of payments they want to receive ! All of my buyers paid with pay pal so why does ebay have to take it on their selfs to push it out to those that do not want to participate !  Restricting good sellers is a stupid thing to do because they are not making any money either !! But experienced sellers will still find a way to sell ! Ebay is not the only rodeo ! I sold before ebay and still selling ! May be a little old fashened but it works with no flaw or fee ! Phone calls and a little gas sometimes but it can be done. Ebay was nice and it was easy and fun but they took all of that out !

How many people on line or in a store still pay with cash or checks. Not many.  Yes 4 days is about how long it is for processing.
