Seller asked me to amend my negative feedback for a refund.

Ok so I bought an item and it arrived but it was broken and I contacted the seller before feedback was left and I waited a week for a response but didn't get one until I left negative feedback and then I get a response asking if there was anything they could do and since I said I don't know if it was fixable I asked for a refund but they said they would only refund if I changed my negative feedback to a positive one which I think is pretty scummy as it's my money and I have a faulty product, but they said they sent me a revision request but there's no request anywhere but I can't go through eBay to request refund as the item is still saying the item is still in transit, what can I do and should I report the seller or something?

Item can be returned for a refund...but it's China...so it's how you ask for a refund whether buyer pays for return shipping or the seller. Of course you paying for return shipping to China would cost a lot.

'Item still in transit'...but you have it...that doesn't make sense...wonder if the tracking is of another buyer and not you.

Do not change the feedback without a refund first.

Here's what you can tell seller...a buyer can do a revision in 10 days...not 11 days...so time is ticking fast for seller to give the buyer a refund. That's all you have to say. I bet you get that refund and seller just says to keep item. Seller has to send a revision request to you. Sounds like the tracking you got is bogus.

Reporting the seller...yea...but that won't get the refund.

If its not too late, file an item not as described and report the seller.

Do not change your feedback.

If he wants you to revise the feedback then tell him to refund your money and then you will. No way I'd revise the feedback if I had a broken item and no refund yet. Then report him. You might have been trying to file a not received claim instead of return item. The case you need to open is return the item it's not as described.
