Did you find something to buy on another site, not eBay, like perhaps a motor vehicle?
Were you told the deal would go through eBay "for your protection" and that you had to pay with gift cards?
Did you purchase those cards and give the numbers to the scammer?
I regret having to tell you this, but eBay gift cards are untraceable just like cash money. If I gave you a $20 bill right now and you spent it, I would not be able to follow up where it was spent, would I?
The can ONLY be used to shop on eBay, not as payment for anything anywhere else.
