Same zipcode scam

I would like to find other good faither buyers who have suffered due to the pretense of fraudsters listing items for sale, usually expensive items, they don't possess and are simply defrauding buyers within a known loophole of ebay accepting as proof of delivery tracking numbers going to same zipcode as buyer. I am at uk with over $650 in loss as ebay sent on to my credit card a tracking number that doesn't go to me as proof but only to my same zipcode. UPS provided fraud letter that tracking number doesn't hi to me still because eBay claims it was a legitimate sale a credit card number I've used for other purchases and that tracking number is proof delivery went to buyer credit card company is sending fraudster seller under ebay as "merchant" therefore I don't even know who seller is for law enforcement.

What's the UPS number? You can share it, as this is your transaction. Anybody can see the weight on the UPS tracking number, no letter needed, to see that that tracking number was not your TV. And maybe the date even shows @abusch10 that it was shipped before you bought the TV.

Just contact your card issuer again to reopen the chargeback against eBay

-- ask them to look at the tracking number themselves at the UPS website, and get your refund.

Same zipcode scam

Yes, that scam is very popular on eBay as it works so well.  They need to change that policy and check the shipped to address at the very least.

Your right. Always pay by credit card for the added protection.
