Returned payment to a Temporary card

I paid for an item with a temporary card through Affirm. Item did not pass inspection (shoes weren't authentic) 

Ebay claims they returned the money on the card used. That card was only active for 48 hours. Where did my refund go and will they eventually return the money to my Credit card on file?

Contact the company the card was issued through: it goes back to that card. Nothing eBay can do about such things.

Lesson form this is to avoid temp cards.
