Hypothetical for high dollar items; I know when a buyer starts a return , your funds will be on hold, but what if you have no funds or insufficient funds in your checking account? Does eBay put on hold whatever insufficient amount is currently in your bank or does eBay automatically take it out/hold it, once the total funds are in your bank? Even if the money isn't in there for a couple of weeks...?

It will be taken out of your banking source. 

Sometimes when I don't have enough of available funds for monthly dues...I get an email first to pay it. And just use my banking source.

Are you saying that eBay does nothing if there are partial funds in your account and that they only take it out if the total funds are in there?
