Refund from paypal?

Ok so I got confirmation from ebay I will be issued a refund on an order I made. The payment method was Paypal using a debit card to a checking account. They said I would have to wait 1 to 2 buisness days for the refund, but it's not showing up on Paypal. I'm not exactly sure how ebay operates when issuing a refund. When they do typically how long does it take to show up on paypal(not to process but to have the refund show up as pending or something like that)?

Refunds go back to the funding source.  If that is a credit/debit card, it could take up to one billing cycle for it to show up on your bank statement.

The refund will go back to your bank account.

Since you used a debit card, it could take a few weeks for the refund to show up.

It shows up on PayPal within the same second that eBay says you've been issued a refund, just like it shows up on PayPal within the same second when you make a payment during Checkout at eBay.

Then the transfer will be pending for a few days as promised before it arrives at your funding source.
