Refund for wrong titled listing.

Hey everyone I recently bought a collectors edition of a game for the Nintendo Switch. The listing specifically said for the Nintendo switch. When the package arrived and I opened it there was only a ps4 copy. There is nothing on the box the specifies the system it is for. The seller so far has been cool and accepted the return. However they already fooled me once so if they end up only giving a partial refund is there anything I can do. I didn’t take off any plastic other than the box plastic to open it, the game and everything else in the package is sealed.  The seller has also addmitted to thinking it was a nintendo switch copy.

Refund for wrong titled listing.

You have a classic Item Not As Described ( INAD ) case. It is helpful if you can also show a rep the commo you had with the seller where they admitted that the item isn't correct.

You should be able to get a full refund based on what you've said here, in my opinion.

Refund for wrong titled listing.

Let me guess,  a new seller with very little feedback.  This one is easy.  OPEN an item NOT as described case. Stop chatting with the seller.  The seller is given 3 days to send you a return shipping label that he has to pay for.  You will print the label, put everything that you got in the box , seal it and then return it.  If ebay asks for you to write the tracking # down in the case details , do so.   Make sure that you take a photo of the tracking # or jot it down somewhere too.  Once the item is delivered, the seller is supposed to issue you a FULL refund.

If the seller fails to respond to the case, on the 3rd day after opening the case,  ESCALATE the case and ebay will give you the full refund and get the funds from the seller.    Do NOT communicate with the seller.  Do NOT close the case if the seller requests it.  You already know that at minimum , he admitted sending you the wrong item.

Make sure that you follow the case directions exactly.  You will get your 100% refund if you do everything exactly like what is stated in the case.

Do NOT close the case.  Do not exchange phone numbers with this possible scammer.
