Received refunded item, cannot contact seller

I purchased an item through buy it now. The seller sent a tracking number but removed the listing and I couldn’t contact them directly through the listing, needless to say it made me suspicious. Two weeks later the tracking number still reported that the package was still not shipped. I opened a ticket and EBay refunded the cost. Now the item has arrived and I cannot contact the seller as the listing is removed. What is the next option? Call EBay?

Did the package have the sellers return address? If so, write him a letter. Send a MO? I doubt eBay will help you.

Are you sure that the item now arrived is exactly as described in the removed listing you cannot see?

If you used paypal go though there.

Is the seller removed or the item? If it's only the item you still can contact the seller.

Respect for trying to do the right thing.
