Generally speaking you would get your refund within about 2 days of returning a purchase.

Sometimes there isa delay in a refund actually being posted to the source of payment.

Sometimes a buyer is refunded without return.

eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers explains clearly what actions the buyer needs to take if/when something goes wrong with a transaction.  Strongly recommend reading it, although will offer herein a capsule version.

If you received an item that's not as described, you have 30 days to open an item not as described case. You do that by finding the item in your Purchase History, clicking on "Return" and then choosing your reason which, if the item is NAD, will be "not as described".  After you open that case, you await a response from your seller.  No response? Or unsatisfactory one? Then you return to the case and ask eBay to step in.  The seller will be required to send you a prepaid return label if he wants it back and to refund when he receives it.  Don't let the seller stall you in any way.

If you do not receive an item by a few days past its last estimated delivery date, you have 30 days to open an item not received case.  Go to the item in your Purchase History and choose "not received" as the reason.  Same time frame for asking eBay for help.  If there is tracking showing it's on its way, however, eBay may request that you wait a little longer.

This is not "eBay". This is a "community" of other eBay buyers, and sellers that may be able to point you in the correct direction/give some guidance.

There is a process for getting refunds. Was the delivery of your item within the last 30 days?  EBay's Money Back Guarantee is 30 days from delivery date. What is the reason for the return?

Go to your eBay Purchase History and open a return case.
Find the item in your Purchase History and press the big, blue 'Return this item' button. Select a reason for the return and follow the prompts.
