Question from buyer

Is it ok for the buyer to ask for: “Send me your eBay username and the picture of the item and send me your PayPal email address for payment confirmation”?

Looks fishy to me, and as I did not respond he cancelled the purchase

NO!! This is a scam, do not respond anymore. Just ignore anything else from this person. Never give out any of your info. All transactions must occur through this platform for your own protection. Good on you for posting here first. Best of luck to you....

Looks like you are new to selling so you will be a magnet for these types of scams. Better to get used to them now so you can learn to ignore them moving forward....

All transactions should only take place on eBay.com or the eBay mobile app. If you even discuss completing the transaction outside of eBay, both of your accounts can be suspended or removed.
