Hello!
I recently had offers accepted on a few different books from a seller. However, since the seller mentioned they would be listing many books in the immediate future, I let them know I'd be adding offers so that they could be shipped together. As a result, while I paid for other one-off books from the seller (no offer options, etc.), the items considered for this 'bundle' purchase remained unpaid until all offers had been submitted. There were also issues with one of the listings I had an offer accepted on, which further delayed payment as we tried to figure out what to do.
Suddenly, however, there was a non-payment case opened and all listings were immediately closed. I cannot pay or figure out any way to pay for them, and there was no warning. I'm not really sure how ebay's systems work in this regard as it seems to vary purchase to purchase. I have other purchases where issues have come up with the items and payment has not been made for much longer than 6 days as we work to resolve the issue.
Now, I can see that I've won the books but can't pay for them. The seller is trying to figure this out with me and we are both frustrated. Paying was never an issue, we were trying to arrange a bulk buy, with offers being accepted on the basis of how many books were going to be combined, etc.
Is there any way to remedy this?

The seller will probably have to relist all the items as a lot and let you purchase them all at once.
He must have had his unpaid assistant turned on, is why the cases were opened, but you should have been notified when they opened. You can go to this page and read on how to dispute the NPB strikes. There is a Chat and call back link at the bottom:

Thanks for the reply. For anyone else who stumbles on this, the items still appear in my purchase list (occasionally) and show as purchased by me, there is even a link to pay which brings up an error page. As a result, the seller re-listed the items and I promptly paid for them. Ebay chat support was surprisingly helpful, removing the strikes and cooperating at all stages.
As a result, the strikes were removed, the items purchased, and the old items still appear in my list. Rebell45's advice is good, reach out to ebay to remove strikes, and reach out to the seller to re-purchase items.
I still don't know how the cases were closed so fast, and only for some of the books. For the others I paid right away when they opened, but a few had the case closed immediately (it seemed, maybe unintentionally, by the seller). At any rate, I'm glad a solution was found.
