I have received at least ten or more emails from PayPal about an automatic payment for EBAY VIP express shipping. I am supposed to contact Candice M Whaples. I have report every email to PayPal but thought I would come here to see if anyone else is getting emails like this. Every email has an amount at the bottom which is what h is higher with each email and is now up to over $1700! Is EBAY VIP express shipping even a thing. I have never actually bought anything from EBAY but wonder if someone hacked my EBAY account. Any info is appreciated.

Change your ebay password, paypal password, your device password and your email password. These passwords MUST never be identical nor almost identical. Check your Paypal word and see if anyone has made any purchases. Otherwise, totally ignore the emails . Are the emails coming through Ebay messages or your email address. If it's the email address, you can report that email as spoof.

Sounds like a random email to trick people into giving them info. It's a very common scam.

I get hundreds of emails like that a week.
I reported them for awhile, but it was taking to much time, so now I just delete them.

This is a scam popping up everywhere on PayPal. Change all of your passwords and call PayPal to dispute. Luckily, nothing ever got charged to me as the payment didn't go through and I caught it the same day, but I see plenty of people charged hundreds. (And there was somehow an automatic payment scheduled on my PayPal account, which I canceled.) I wouldn't ignore this one.

Yes it's a scam. " Candice M Whaples " Is one of the names it's been running under. I too have received some of those fake emails.
