Pending Payment Paypal

So I bought an item and paid via paypal, and it never processed just said 'payment pending', so a little over a day later I reached out to the seller about it. They said they had just connected their ebay and paypal. I should note they are a new user and this was their first listing. And that it should work if I try to send payment. Well my paypal shows that they need to accept the funds. It gives me the option to cancel but I don't know if that is a good idea. I asked on reddit and was told they should have gotten an email to whatever email was used in the listing that told them how to claim the money from paypal, and they could add multi emails to their paypal so they should be able to claim it. I sent the seller that info, and have yet to hear back from them but that was just nearly a day ago. Also an hour after I sent that second message I was notified a shipping label was printed, but nothing with the payment has changed. So I don't know what to do, I know the money should refund after 30 days unclaimed but I want to get this seller paid. So any advice in much appreciated, thanks.

If they printed a label they must expect the payment to clear. I'd just wait and see if the package is actually mailed before doing anything else.

It would appear that they did ship it, I checked the tracking and it updated as being dropped off at a ups access point yesterday afternoon. I haven't heard anything back from seller either.

Just an update; today I noticed it finally showed as being paid earlier this morning, and had cleared on paypal as well. I don't know if the seller used the info I sent along, or what happened to get this cleared up as they never did message me back. Hopefully anyone in a similar situation might find this useful in the future.
