Paypal and returns/refunds.

As a seller and I get a return and I refund via Paypal, not MP, do I lose the PP 2.9% fee, the 30c fee or both? I was under the impression that PP no longer refunded their 2.9% transaction fee. I'm confused even after so long as I don't get many returns. Thanks for a reply!

Yes, Pay Pal no longer refunds any of their fee's.

Before the switch to MP I was still getting the 2.9% back.

I believe it sometimes has something to do with the type of account.

PP reported that they stopped issuing refunds on fees quite a while ago. I had a few returns where I never received a credit from PP. At least with MP that is not an issue. Best of luck to you....
