Hello,
I've setup 2FA on my Paypal's main webpage for my account.
When I pay with Paypal on Ebay, it bypasses the 2FA security setting, and goes directly to the completed purchase.
How can I ensure Ebay adheres to the security settings I've setup for my individual paypment options on their respective websites?

I would like to know the same. Major security issue.

Could it be that you have linked your PayPal to your eBay?
Unlink them and try again to see if that makes a difference.

If by linking you mean adding PayPal as a payment option , yes that's what's required to pay with PayPal. It's no longer possible to use PayPal to pay while at the same time not allowing eBay to keep that payment option saved. And that's OK, that first purchase would go through 2FA, but the problem is that PayPal then stores eBay as an automatically authorized vendor, and bypasses any 2FA you may expect from PayPal in future purchases through eBay. You then have to log into PayPal and remove eBay from the pre authorized vendors if you want to re-enable 2fa security for your next PayPal purchase through ebay.
I am not sure which entity is to blame , eBay or PayPal. Hit PayPal does keep storing some vendors with pre authorization, so I think PayPal is the problem in assuming this "convenience" is preferred over the security of 2FA. Talk about a contradiction.
