I set up my seller account to pay out to my bank account over a week ago, and eBay *still* hasn't sent any microtransactions to verify the account. Is this common?

The new payments and holds system (along with the ludicrous fees) have been an absolute joke - this will be the last time I sell on eBay.

Why would anyone that thinks the fees are ludicrous even try to start selling?

No, the fees and requirements are not a joke.

What is a joke is that anyone is allowed to list something for sale before the account for selling is done, finished, ready to go.
