Payout sent to closed bank

Hi, I just recently sold an item for 744 dollars and the payout was sent to my closed bank account. My closed bank usually sends the funds back to my ebay account but then will send the payout to my closed bank account again. I also just added a debit card that’s completely verified on ebay, will ebay automatically send the payout funds to my debit card instead of my closed bank account?

Why did you have a closed bank account attached to managed payments is what don’t understand. 
But if the payment gets kicked you really should update your account to a good checking account. Updating Your Checking Account Details For Payouts

It has to be a bank routing account number they desire. Adding just a debit card won't work. And there is a bank routing number to most debit cards. Unless you have one of those debit cards that you add money to for buying...ebooksdiva states what can be done.

Yeah, the question wasn’t about why. No need for that comment. People may not have sold in awhile and forgot. eBay didn’t always also used to do auto deposit daily, or might have been waiting for account verification 🤦‍♂️ many possible reasons, but felt belittling was best route.
