I recently had to cancel my bank account and open a new one. My Payout went to my closed bank account.

I tried to add my new bank account, but the process won't let me add a new account without the "full bank account number" of the old account.

So I enter the old account number, and it said it was invalid. I called my bank to confirm the number, and entered it again. Again invalid. So I added the routing number, but that was invalid. Now my account is

blocked. I cannot reach anyone, to talk about this. Has anyone had this experience?

I'll go you one better... I've never even heard of anyone having this experience. Sit tight for other posters who may have, or reach out to eBay C/S beginning with a message on eBay's facebook page. Good luck and good golly...

I'm having the same issue. Have been trying since 5/20 to update to a new account. I have 3 different eBay accounts and have the same issue with all three. I have been trying over and over. Either I get a message, "We can not validate this bank account" or they say they are sending the microdeposits to my bank, which never arrive. I can't get any answers from eBay. One person made a suggestion but it didn't work. Another spoke such poor English I could barely understand her and all she did was repeat the instructions that are given when you are trying to validate your account. I told her over and over I had done that over and over and she didn't seem to understand English any better than she spoke it. I contacted my bank and they confirmed that the information I was supplying eBay was correct.

The thing that is so aggravating is that eBay has had no problem taking money from the account to pay for charges. They are only refusing to send payouts to the account.

So I am wondering - did you get your issue resolved and if so, how. Were you able to reach and talk to someone who could identify the problem and fix it? Do you know what the issue is?
