30 day hold!!! Nothing like holding a persons money hostage!!! They got my item I should have there money. That's how transaction work I thought. I just don't get how eBay can put a hold on something that never belonged to them. Was't there item and was't there money. Isn't bad enough they take 15% they steal your money from you for 30 days

You are a new seller. The payment hold is explained in the information that all new sellers need to read, preferably before they begin selling.

The final value fee on most items listed on eBay is 12.9%. Can't see what category your item is listed in because you must be selling under a different ID than the one used here.

Well it's the last time eBay will make money off of me. I'll sell else where and pay more for an item if I have too. Not that it will matter to them. Obviously there sellers don't!!! The buyer has had my item for too weeks now but I'm still waiting for payment. If that ain't crap I don't know what is!!!

Oh I believe you. I just think it's crap so I posted twice. But both times is a waste of time cause eBay probably don't even read this post not that it would matter.

There are a few eBay employees who obviously read posts because they post in here sometimes but I believe they have no power to change policy only tell you the policy or give links to get help.

As for them being trustworthy you have no reason to believe payment holds make them untrustworthy. I think it's the opposite. Buyers can trust that a new seller won't close their bank account after getting paid and abscond with their money and the item.

I do appreciate your replys was just having a hard time so I sold something I didn't want to. Then they put a hold on 2500 dollars I really could of used. Wasn't trying to call anybody dishonest. Thank you for your help!!!
