Payment?

Hi, I recently sold some Lego. I sold six kits. I have only been paid for two. I have proof that all the kits have been delivered. Is there anything I can do to get the money for the items I have sold?

My payments were on hold as I had not sold anything in quite a while, I understand that and I updated all my information and still my payments are on hold. I don’t understand and I am getting annoyed. Can anyone help me?

Thanks.

Payment?

They can hold the payments for 30 days.

Nothing to do until the hold is released.

Have a great day.

Payment?

eBay can hold payments for up to 30 days, especially if:

  • You haven’t sold in a while, and your account is flagged for inactivity.
  • The item’s delivery status hasn’t been confirmed.
  • You’re a new seller, or your selling history is limited.
  • There’s a potential dispute or claim on the transaction.

However, there are steps you can take to potentially expedite the release of your payments:

  1. Ensure Tracking is Uploaded
Since you mentioned that all kits have been delivered, verify that tracking numbers for all shipments are uploaded and marked as "Delivered" in eBay’s system. If you used a service that doesn’t include tracking, this might be part of the delay.

  2. Verify Your eBay and Payment Information
Double-check that your eBay account and payment method details are correct and fully updated. Any mismatch or missing information can delay payment release.

  3. Check for Holds Due to Buyer Actions
Sometimes payments are held if the buyer hasn’t confirmed receipt of the item or if there’s an open case. Communicate politely with buyers, asking them to confirm delivery through eBay if they haven’t already.

  4. Contact eBay Support
If everything seems in order and the payments are still on hold, reach out to eBay customer support for clarification. Explain your situation and ask for an update on when the funds will be released.

Tips to Avoid Payment Holds in the Future:

  • Stay active on your eBay account, even if you’re not selling. Regular logins and updates help maintain account activity.
  • Always use trackable shipping methods and upload tracking details promptly.
  • Maintain excellent buyer communication and feedback ratings, as these factors influence your account status.
  • Familiarize yourself with eBay’s Managed Payments policies and ensure compliance with their terms.

Final Thoughts:
While waiting for the hold to be released can be frustrating, these steps may help you resolve the issue faster and avoid similar problems in future transactions.

Have a great day, and good luck!

Payment?

If your payments are still on hold, it might be due to the platform’s policies or an issue with your account verification. I’d suggest reaching out to the platform’s customer support team directly to explain the situation and provide all the necessary proof of delivery. You might also want to double-check that all your account information is fully updated, as sometimes small errors can cause delays.
