Buyer is asking me for my PayPal I/D to pay for an item I sold. I thought eBay handled it where the buyer clicks on the pay now button. Please let me know if I am wrong and how the best way to respond. Thank you.

Its 100% a scam. All payments go through eBay. Block and report them and do not communicate with them further.
