I had a user (0 feedback and account created on purchase date) purchase an item and after a few days opened a claim with their bank to dispute the charges which they deem unrecognizable. The value is roughly $130. After this, the tracking information shows the street number is incorrect and UPS is trying to update the address. This morning I go back into tracking and it says an investigation has been opened for my lost package.
What are the correct steps to take as a seller in this situation? I have until the 21st to either refund the order or show proof of delivery. I messaged the buyer asking for an updated address and to discuss the payment dispute but i'm positive I won't get any response. It is sort of a double whammy with the payment dispute as well as the lost package and has bad news written all over it. My path currently is waiting until the 20th, calling UPS and getting all the information I can, mark the package as return to sender if found, and then claim the insurance? I'm not 100% sure at this point. This was shipped UPS ground.
Thanks for any help.

try and intercept the package and get it returned to you.

I think that a package intercept is a good idea. When the package comes back to you, you'll not need the insurance claim.
If your buyer has given you the wrong address, they'll have the option to re-purchase, if that's okay with you, too.
