Payment Issue

Hope somebody can help me!

Yesterday morning I made a purchase and everything worked! In the afternoon I found a new article and I´ve decided to buy it, but I found my credit card was almost in the limit so I asked to my wife to borrow me her CC and Ebay did not complete the purchase due to unknown reason.

Today I went to the bank to pay my Credit Card in order to have enough $$$ and when I tried to complete the purchase, surprise! The same Issue, not possible to complete the transcation?

Is Ebay blocking me for using my wife credit card? I´ll appreciate a lot your support!

Payment Issue

Regarding to Mexico shippment I have an adress in the US, so I think is not the case but regarding the seller does not accept payments from here I think that is a potential cause. How to know?

The seller has the option to block payments from locations that the seller does not ship to. This would be in the Buyer Requirements.

You might try contacting the seller and asking if they are set up to accept a payment from Mexico; if not, perhaps the seller will make an exception for you.

If that turns out not to be the problem, you may want to try a different payment method, if possible. If you are checking out by entering your credit card information into eBay directly, try using your PayPal account instead, or else the other way around. Or see if you can pay with a bank balance.

Payment Issue

What message did you see when you tried to make a purchase?

There are many potential reasons why you might not be able to make a purchase, and without knowing the exact error message your received or at what point you got stuck, one can only guess at what might be going on.

Your seller might not ship to Mexico or accept payments from there; a seller might have blocked you from a previous transaction or offer; you may have run into an open transaction limit, particularly if you have open bids, unpaid or cancelled items. If you have two unpaid item strikes, many sellers will not allow you to purchase from them. If your seller is new, the seller may not have set up the account correctly to receive your payment. You may have entered your credit card information incorrectly, or you may need to provide more information to be able to use it.

The message that appears is:

"Your payment didn't go through. Please check the card info and billing address or select a different payment option."

Regarding unpaid Items, open bids or cancelled Items nope, I always pay everything!

I already made many purchases with this credit card and adress!!

Lot of thanks for your information!
