I want to receive my payments through PayPal and not have them deposited in my bank account.  How do I do that?

You don't, if you want to sell on ebay.

A lot of other sellers have expressed that preference  too so you are not alone

unfortunately  eBay no longer is able to give the seller that option

It is noe managed payments or  you can not sell on eBay

ALL eBay sellers have been, or will soon be, switched over to Managed Payments.

eBay expects this process to be complete by the end of this year.

On thing you might want to do is not have managed payments access to you personal banking account 

open up a business bank account to receive your payments if you decide to keep selling under MP

It doesn't have to be a Business bank account if your Ebay account is not set up as a business using a business name.  Business accounts do cost a little to have.

If your account is set up under your name, even if you use that as your business name, you can open a personal checking account and there are lots of those out there for free.

just saying keep different account for only eBay  business and another personal bills/everyday needs

its easier " business " account not that it would not be  another personal bank account

I have two personal checking accounts, one for eBay, and one for everything else.

There is a distinct difference between a Personal account and a Business account at a Bank.  

Even if you are running a business on Ebay or any other online site but you do not have your accounts set up under a Business name, you do NOT want to open a Business account at the bank.  Not only to Business accounts typically have fees, you will then need to make sure that your Ebay account is revised to be set up under that Business Name.  

I operate as a Sole Proprietorship.  My account on Ebay is set up as a Business account but under MY name.  Which most SPs operate under the person's name.  I have a separate personal bank account in which I drop ALL online income in from all the sites I sell on.  Keeping it separated is cleaner and much easier for bookkeeping.  I transfer money as I need it to my personal account used to pay my bills.
