Pay with paypal is not working

I got a paypal account and a paypal mastercard. Im trying to buy something on Ebay. I am using pay with paypal at checkout.   My paypal mastercard does not show in the wallet at checkout. I attempt to add the paypal credit card in the paypal checkout portal, including by logging in to my paypal account and adding it there but I get this error: "This card can’t be used for your payment or added to your PayPal account. Try a different card."

No idea whats going on. Anyone have any clue?

Your Paypal Mastercard won't automatically show up as a payment option until you put it in there when you check out where it says "add new card".
