PAYMENT FOR SOLD ITEMS

On April 14th I sold a coin for $5900. eBay seller account said the transaction was processing. Today is the 18th and there is nothing in my checking account; which means I might get it on the 19th, 5 days later.

I explain this because, Yesterday, Sunday the 17th I made a payment online to Discover Card and the transaction hit my account this morning, the 18th.

Why does it take 5 days to receive payments,  and this is almost $6000.

Are you set up on daily payouts or weekly?  If it's weekly you'll get your payout tomorrow.  Ebay usually sends you a notice in your private messages that your payout has been sent.  Since your sale was last Thursday, more than likely you'll receive it today or tomorrow as I pointed out earlier.  Also, some banks don't post deposits on weekends.  I know mine doesn't.  That may be the reason as well.  Hey! 👍 Congrats on your great sale!!

Does it show the payment being held?

For that amount, they might hold the funds for a little bit.
