No Option To Link A Bank Account

Hello,

I don't know what I did when I recently created this account, but I do not have the option to link a bank account in Payments; it's only Credit or Debit Card. 

When I attempt to list an item, I receive an error message that my personal information needs to be verified, along with a link to PayPal instructions (which is strange, since ebay split with PayPal).

Anyone know what's going on and how to resolve this? I'm at the point of trying to open a fresh ebay account.

You should be able to "Add a Payment Option" at the bottom of this page or the "+" sign on the line that says in BOLD Payment Options....

Yes, except the only option I receive is Credit or Debit. Something's wrong.

sorry, I can't think of anything more, but I think a new account sees different screens than one that is signed up with multiple funding sources.....

Correct. I'm only getting Credit or debit card. The Bank Account option is not showing.

I'm thinking you should attach a checking account for your payouts and you need to add a credit card for  seller payments, the payments that don't  come out of your payouts or when you don't  have $ in your checking account to cover return labels or refunds on pending payments. 

If cards are the only option given why are you not accepting that?

I am having the exact same issue!  I found someone that had luck getting the option to add their bank account information after they tried to list their first item for sale. I plan to try to do that. I hope it works because otherwise my account on ebay will be useless since Im doing more selling than buying

eBay requires a checking account to deposit your payouts, or you might have to have a Payoneer account instead.

Next you need to attach a method to pay for seller fees. These are fees that aren't taken from the payout. For example when you make the refund the buyer gets their payment back and you still owe the .30 transaction fee and eBay wants you to specify how you want to pay the .30.  

Some sellers are only given the choice to attach a credit card. Some get more options.

If you're wanting to attach a checking account wouldn't that be the same as a debit card?

Has anyone found a fix for this?  I'm having the same issue.  The only option given is Credit or Debit card option and nothing else.

same here can't add a bank account guess ill just use facebook marketplace

You need to link a checking account for payouts. Then you need to attach a debit or credit cards for seller fees. The checking account is linked first. Then you attach a debit or credit card to eBay.

Did you read my message 13?

Did you link a bank account for payouts and confirm the micro-deposits?

Then did you attach a debit or credit card for seller fees?

I listed the link to add a checking account and a link for seller fees.
