Nectar points & ebay?

I've been unable to spend nectar points for over a month on ebay. Removed the account and reconnected the account but still message still says "having problems connecting to nectar". Impossible to communicate the issue to ebay and chatbot just goes round in circles. Any help appreciated.

Gotta ask, what the heck are "nectar points"? Makes me think of hummingbird feeders!
